Camp adventures for children and teens diagnosed with cancer, and their families.
Childhood cancer is tough. It’s scary. It’s lonely. And it’s emotionally draining. A cancer diagnosis changes everything for the whole family. Camp Rainbow Gold gives Idaho children who have been diagnosed with cancer, and their families, a chance to take a break from cancer—a break from doctor appointments, hospital visits, and the stress and fear that comes with this diagnosis.

Auction Donation Tips
To help make the event as successful as possible, here are a few tips for what works best when selecting auction items:
- Choose items with broad appeal. Experiences, gift certificates, tickets, specialty products, or high-demand items tend to draw the most bids.
- Keep presentation in mind. Items that are beautifully packaged, thoughtfully displayed, or easy to ship or carry home typically perform better.
- Avoid branded merchandise. We’ve found that items featuring company logos (such as apparel or promotional items) don’t attract as much interest in the auction setting.
- Include a short description or story. If there’s something unique about your item (such as where it came from, how it’s made, or why it’s special) please share that.
